Design And Exterior

The all-new Maruti Celerio comes with a fresh and modern body design leaning towards the aerodynamic and aesthetic side. This is paired with a bold chrome grille and aggressive headlamps as part of the front fascia that makes the car look sharper, and much more confidently youthful. The sporty design is complemented by the new bumper with integrated fog lamps and a wide air intake.

On the side, the Celerio’s clean lines are complemented by a pair of prominent wheel arches that house newly designed 14-inch alloy wheels. It sports a sloping roofline with blacked-out B-pillars which give it a dynamic stance, while the rear has a mild redesign with new LED tail lamps and sportier skirting on the rear bumper.

Interior And Comfort

Much like the Celerio, this has a fairly spacious cabin with decent headroom and legroom for its passengers, front and rear. The materials and ergonomics of its interior make the cabin feel more high-end than its price would suggest.

The layout of the cabin is logical, with the new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the middle, compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for seamless smartphone integration. The steering wheel serves multiple purposes, while the digital-analog instrument cluster provides all essential information at a glance, enriching the driving experience.

The well-padded and supportive seats make long trips comfortable, too, This feature makes it easier to store large items, but even if you need to stack smaller items in the trunk, the split-folding rear seat comes in handy. The luggage compartment of the Celerio is among the largest among its competitors with a volume of 313 liters, making it the perfect companion for weekend getaways or shopping sprees.

Engine And Performance

The next-gen K-Series 1.0-liter petrol engine, that drives the Maruti Celerio 2025, producing 67 PS and 90 Nm, is located under the bonnet. Aboard is a 1.6L 4 cylinder, 16 valve engine mated to a choice of 5-speed manual or 5-speed A.M.T.

The new engine features Dual VVT (Variable Valve Timing) and Idle Start-Stop technology, improving fuel economy and reducing emissions. The Celerio offers an exceptional mileage of 26.68 km/l for the AMT variant and is one of the most fuel-efficient petrol cars in its segment.

Safety And Features

It features dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and Hill Hold Assist (limited to its AMT variant). Other safety features include a speed alert system and seatbelt reminders for the driver as well as the front passenger.

Pricing And Variants

Maruti offers the Celerio in four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+, each adding more features as you go up the price ladder. It starts from ₹5.25 lakh (ex-showroom) and is one of the most affordable models in the compact hatchback category.
